O! Canada 2011

Once again The Loose Threads have outdone themselves. A tradition was started several years ago to share our talents by hosting a mini Quilt Show in our community on Canada Day. This year was no exception, on display was the quilt judged Best Use of Color at the 2010 Cowichan Fall Fair. There were kittens in their baskets, on shelves, and on quilts. Not to take all the applause, the sheep, bunnies and ducks entered the room as well. The residents and visitors - including the children - here enjoyed our mini show. Items were for sale and part of the proceeds will be donated to Hospice in our area.
We are always asked how many hours are devoted to quilting! Can anyone answer that for me? Hope you all had a enjoyable Canada Day.
