Tried & Finished - Hotpads

Followed the instructions on Sweet P Quilting and Creations and this is what I came up with. Did not take very long...but I was angry at what transpired after the Stanley Cup Hockey Game last night and I must have taken the frustrations out on the cutting mat and the sewing machine. Here is what I ended up with:
This is the front [top] grey, red and black and on the back I used a Fat 1/4 that I won. The fabric is full of luscious red cherries sew very appropriate for that Cherry Pie hot out of the oven and set on your side board awaiting that special time of the meal.

Thanks to Delores' Tutorial  and to Paulette for the step by step instrructions . I think that I will just make a couple more. What a terrific hostess gift.

Hi Vicky:
So glad you were able to make up some hotpads! Aren't they the easiest thing ever? I bought the pattern on our recent trip to La Conner Washington. I visited the Quilt Museum there and thought I should support them by buying something from the gift shop.
Love your choice of fabrics. I got a couple of cute fat quarters today at HATW on Mayne Island. I think they'll be perfect for these.
