Quilt Trunk Show

On Tuesday evening several quilt members from CVHQ motored to the Victoria Quilt Guild to see the work and quilt presentation by Barb Shapell. What a super artist. The pictures I took do not do justice, but don't miss seeing her work. Just click on http://www.barbarayano.com/gallery.html you will be just in awe.

While I was at the sewing and craft show in Puyallup, I visited several booths that sold wool fabric. I was able to take a picture of the patterns they were selling for this year.

Now I know why so many are interested in working with wool fabric.

Tomorrow I am off to take a free motion quilting class. I want to improve my skills and the instructor: Coreen Zerr will definitely show me how. Have a super day.

WOW!! I love these penny rugs!! Glad to see the west coast is catching on to the wool craze!! Some very cute patterns there!! AND how lucky are you to attend a free motion workshop...I think that is what you have to do to get really good at it. One of the quilters here does gorgeous free motion quilting and she said she attended tons of workshops and then did lots of practice!
Have fun!
