Fall is in the air

How can you tell that fall is in the air. The shadows are long, the sun is shining and the water is rough. Today I have put my quilting aside and have put baking in the forefront. Getting the pumpkins cooked for pumpkin pie, and getting ready for Thanksgiving Dinner. Don't know if I will serve apple pie or pumpkin pie so will bake both for good measure. I tried to get a picture of Mt. Baker but with this beautiful sunshine, I don't think that you can see it. Just looking at the water, seeing the whitecaps you just know that it is October. Tomorrow, it will be back to quilting. I promise to have a photo of my latest creation very soon.

I love your blog! I visited Canada years ago and took a train across your country, and my favorite region was Alberta and BC. It was an experience that I will never forget! I would love to go back with Joe and have him see Canada's beauty. I am now a follower of your blog, and I hope we get to know each other.
