3RD Garage Sale Project Completed

It's been quite some time since I posted anything. Remember some time ago July to be exact I posted that I had attended a Fabric Garage Sale. Well today I completed my third project. I have to give Janet credit for starting this project, I only finished it. This quilt is being donated to Victoria's Quilts [which in turn is being donated to Cancer Patients]. In order to reduce my stash I have started making quilts for Victoria's Quilts and this is the second quilt that I have completed. Now I don't mean to brag about how quickly I work - here is a sample. At the quilt group that I belong CVHQ they have ongoing Block of the Month Projects. At the end of the month they make a draw and the persons name pinned to the block gets all the blocks. Well I was the fortunate winner in 2002! And today, 9 years later I have completed the project. Whew! didn't think that I would ever get it done. And what an appropriate time - Fall. My New Year's Resolution this year was to complete all my UFO's. I think that I had 17 - I still have a way to go and only a couple of months to finish. Will I keep that resolution? I will let you know at the end of the year. Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadian Quilters and their families.
